About the Role

Provides technical expertise for Urban Combat Tactics, Techniques and Procedures. Provides technical expertise for Advanced Marksmanship Instruction. Coordinates with other unit organizations to ensure MOUT/Tactics Instruction is nested within SOPs. Develops training plan for Manual/Ballistic Breaching. Tracks initial qualification of Manual/Ballistic Breaching-qualified operators. Assists/Develops Flight Training Plans for Urban Combat. Maintains all consumables and coordinates with Munitions personnel to ensure adequate ordnance for training and operational requirements. Performs Plans and Exercises (PLEX) duties and safety checks for Team, Flight and Squadron training iterations. Conducts Pre-Deployment Site Survey duties. Contractor shall research Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and developing technology to keep program safe and relevant. Provides technical and tactical expertise during Flight Full Mission Profile training iterations. Organizes/supervises scenario-based training for urban combat training. Assists Flights with training in patrolling and other small unit tactics. Provides critical feedback during Flight/Team after action reviews. Contractor personnel shall be able to work around demolitions (to include breaching), all small and large arms up to and including 40-millimeter, .50 caliber, and Anti-Tank munitions, pyrotechnics to include ground burst simulators, and simunitions. Contractor personnel shall be able to operate military and civilian vehicles in the execution of ground mobility training. Contractor personnel shall be able to demonstrate various weapons handling and marksmanship procedures and authorized to sign for unit issued weapons. Contractor personnel shall be able to observe in the following training operations: Close Quarters Combat, urban and rural assaults training operations, small unit tactics, low-visibility operations and tradecraft, Personal Security Detail operations, combat life saver training including Tactical Combat Casualty Care. Contractor personnel will be required to utilize night vision devices, weapons systems small and large, drive standard and nonstandard military and civilian vehicles, fly on rotary and fixed wing aircraft, operate standard and nonstandard maritime vehicles. Contractor personnel will be required to perform duties and Range Safety Officer in accordance with base and installation range policies and procedures. Contractor personnel will be required to instruct and guide civilian and military role players in support of training exercises and conduct all training exercise support operations. Contractor personnel will be required to perform duties target safety official that include safety evaluations walk-throughs for integrated live-fire and simulation-fire scenarios. Contractor personnel will have complete working knowledge of live-fire and simulation-fire safety standards. The Contractor shall work with interagency working groups, National agencies, DoD agencies, U.S. Intelligence agencies and other military commands. The Contractor shall work as a team builder to foster consistent interpretation among operations personnel, associated agencies, and directorates of pertinent plans, policy, and exercises. The Contractor shall serve as an advanced urban combat SME to higher headquarters. The Contractor shall be knowledgeable of a wide range of technologies/techniques applicable to the assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Must have a TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Must have 5 years of experience supporting AFSOC/SOF Operations

  • Must have knowledge of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). 

  • Must be knowledgeable of a wide range of technologies/techniques applicable to the assigned tasks.
